Another Reason Adoption Rocks

Yesterday I was talking to my sister on the phone when I went to get our mail...as I was going through it I opened a card from some adoption friends. They very generously made a donation to Gramps' Gang/MMRF Walk. To say I was surprised and overwhelmed is an understatement! I started crying and could barely get out the words to tell my sister what they had done for me.

The wording on the card was perfect " No burden is too heavy when shared with a friend...and carried to the Lord in prayer."

At that moment it was exactly when I needed to read/hear. I can never say Thank You enough to this group of girls...I have had the privilege to meet 2 of them "In Real Life" and would love to meet the rest someday. I am truly honored and touched that they did this for me and Gramps' Gang.

I can't explain it how much it means to be part of the adoption community and how we are always there for each other and most of us have never met face to face...it is an automatic friendship and I am proud to be a part of it and even more grateful that these girls call me a friend!
